Snake bites
There is a cool new sketch blog in town.
It's a place where a bunch of Viper comics artists can get together and post sketches, usually based on a weekly theme.
This week was "Rocket or Punk"
I decided to do both and did a Punk girl with a rocket pack.
It was a real quick and loose sketch and the extremely cool Ryan Cody decided he wanted to ink it. Which ended up really cool, because the sketch I drew was so loose he could kind of do his own thing and I think it just turned out really neat.
Check it out if you get a chance.

A Scanner Darkly
The movie Scanner Darkly is in theaters now, I have yet to see it, but my brother and several amazing illustrators in Austin are responsible for the crazy-cool visuals.
I feel lucky that, through my awesome brother, I was able to have a common link with some of these fantastic people and worm my way into friendships with them.
One of these individuals is the multi-talented Jason Chalker.
Jason has started doing personalized portraits of people in the style of the movie.
If you enjoyed the movie or just really want a neat portrait of yourself for a measly 100 bucks go to his website for more info.
