Emily Edison Pin-up!
I posted a new piece of art in my gallery.
It's a pin-up for the soon-to-be-released graphic novel of Brock Rizy and David Hopkins' young butt-whupper Emily Edison.
I tried out a lot of new things with this image from the way I color to the way I ink and I'm happy with the way it came out.
Check it out HERE!

Just in case you are curious...
Who, or who isn't, a piece of crap.

I'm so glad my brother is a madman, he continues to outdo me on a creative level every second of his life.
He keeps me on my toes.
God bless him.
While you're at it, wrap your eyelids around the glory that is his art.
ZACH'S AMAZING ART!

THE PUPPY BOWL!
My wife and I are not big sports fans, much less football fans.
Marlena actually knows more about sports than I do because she got a healthy dose of sports love from her father while she was growing up.
Regardless, we watched a great deal of the game, even after Marlena protested "why?"
It ended up being a pretty good game and the Rolling Stones was an added bonus.
But today I found out that if we had Cable, I would have lost any hope of watching the game at all.
Witness... The Puppy Bowl.

The power of a cartoon and the dark side of religion
For those that blow off cartoons as a water-down art form, or "for kids". Pay attention to the events that are unfolding outside of our country.
Innocent German men and women are being threatened with death because of a cartoon that appeared in their home country's newspaper.
Islamic Law forbids the depiction of the Prophet Muhammad or any other religious figures. Good or Bad.
A Danish Paper ran a cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad with a bomb for a hat.
A Jordanian paper reprinting the cartoon in outrage, thus outraging the Palestinians.
Palestinian gunmen now roam the Gaza Strip looking for any random German citizen they can punish for this outrage, until they get an apology.
Someone may die because of a ink doodle that offend someone else's religion in a completely different country.
That is the power of a cartoon.
And an example of the idiocy of man.
