UPDATE!
They've been repairing the cable wires on the telephone pole outside my house for the past month or so... what was once an intermittent connection to the web has now been completely dead for over a week. Time Warner Cable has no idea when this will be finished or when our home will be blessed with the internets again.
I continue to work and maybe one day I'll blog again from the comfort of my own damn house.

So it is bad cable wire? Ass... If you are having issues with other shit and want to know outage stuff etc, shoot me an email.
I work for Time Warner Business, but I do all of Texas now so I have access to look up home accounts pretty much anywhere in Texas that has Time Warner. Accept for San Antonio, but your place I can look up.
I know the storms have fucked up a ton of shit due to the power not staying on and never getting fixed properly. It is ass.
But hey, I broke my ankle and have been hobbling around for the last 2 weeks. It is Jawesome!!!

Basically they upgraded the wires on the telephone pole outside our house a few weeks ago, which gave us an intermittent connection and then a fairly strong one for about a week.
Then it just died. We had 2 techs out who said it was a problem with the upgraded line and it would be fixed that night, but it was never fixed and when I called in the phone techs had no idea there was a problem in the area. I finally last night talked someone into sending out a line tech and they claim it will be fixed this weekend.

Email me your address and I will look at it on Monday, to make sure something is set up correctly and what you need to tell people.
Yeah, they are trying to get the cable up to snuff, right now the set up is not very good and I can tell you some funky stories later on haha.
But yeah, sounds like the whole cable line needs to be rerun and rebuilt, ass indeed.
